As we wrap up an amazing year at EHYC, it’s time to look forward to the incredible lineup of events planned for 2025. Before We Dive In: Weekly Pub Nights to continue in 2025
Thursday Pub Nights will restart after the Clubhouse refurbishment on January 16th. These evenings have become a cornerstone of EHYC’s social calendar, offering members a chance to relax, reconnect, and share in the camaraderie of the club.
We’re thrilled to bring them back every week throughout 2025. Signup to work on the bar and help make our pub nights a weekly highlight.
January:
New Years Day Tug of War and Polar Bear Swim
Date: Wednesday, January 1. Let’s reclaim the title this year! Calling all strong individuals — and don’t forget your gloves!
Celebrate Robbie Burns Night!
Date: Thursday, January 23. Kick off the new year in style with a toast to Scotland's beloved poet. Expect haggis, bagpipes, and a celebration steeped in tradition. (Hint: Dust off your kilts!)
February:
Valentine’s Evening
Date: Thursday, February 13th. Get ready for a romantic night to celebrate love! Bring your partner or your friends for an evening of great food, music, and atmosphere.
March:
St. David’s Quiz Night
Date: Thursday March 6th. Welsh themed pub night. Chilli pub fare and a lively Spring Quiz.
St. Patrick’s Pub Night
Date: Thursday, March 13th. Raise a pint to the Emerald Isle! This lively evening will feature Irish-inspired pub fare, live music, and plenty of green.
Marine Operator Certificate Course
Date: Thursday March 20th. Offered through the Tri-City Power Squadron instructor. A course for those who need it for a "Restricted Operators Marine Certificate." VHF and DSC Certificates.

Anniversary Dinner
Date: Saturday, April 5th
Join us to honour EHYC's legacy with a dinner celebrating our milestones and memories.
Safety Day
Date: Saturday, April 26th and Sunday April 27th
Learn essential skills to keep you and your vessel safe on the water with a courtesy boat safety check.
May: Tradition Meets Adventure
Sailpast
Date: Saturday, May 10th. Our annual tradition celebrating the official opening of the boating season. Join the fleet and salute the Commodore!
Supercruise
Date: May 23rd–25th. Cruise into spring with a weekend full of camaraderie and exploration. Details coming soon.
June: Lobster Night & More
Lobster Night
Date: Friday, June 13th. Bringing the taste of the East Coast to EHYC. Don’t miss this member favourite!
SUP Race Evening
Date: TBA. Paddle your way to glory with our Stand-Up Paddleboard Race Night. Stay tuned for more details.
August: Dock Party
Date: Thursday, August 7th. Mix and mingle dockside with live music, delicious food, and great company. Summer nights don’t get better than this.
September:
Salmon Derby
Date: Saturday, September 13th. Reel in the fun with a day of fishing and friendly competition. Prizes and bragging rights are up for grabs! Did you know? The Salmon Derby is one of our newest events, quickly becoming a firm favourite!
October:
Commodore’s Dinner
Date: Saturday, October 25th. An evening to honour the Commodore and celebrate another year at EHYC.
November:
Cork and Canvas
Date: November 28th. Sip on wine whilst viewing (and maybe purchasing!) artwork in this popular evening.
December:
Christmas Cheer
Date: Thursday, December 18th. End the year on a festive note with our annual Holiday event. Expect warmth, good cheer, and holiday magic.
